Two Black Doves Of Isis

I stand on my balcony and watch them there.
Strutting and gathering, this young mating pair.
These Two Black Doves Of Isis.

A few days later, they've built their nest.
Of all the trees, they've chosen the best.
these Two Black doves Of Isis.

It's an honour to observe their spiritual bond.
The longer I watch, the more I'm drawn to
these Two Black Doves Of Isis.

When their eggs have hatched and their babies are here,
I'll rejoice in their happiness and pray away the fears of
these Two Black Doves Of Isis.

When the time has come and their babies have flown,
I'll share in their sadness of empty nest syndrome with
these Two Black Doves Of Isis.

And when the years pass, I'll remember them there,
bonding in the grass, this young mating pair,
these Two Black Doves Of Isis.

The hour my death comes, is it in the plan that
they guide my soul to the Summer Land,
these Two Black Doves of Isis.

If that is the case, I'll welcome them then,
and tell them I'm honoured to see them again.
My Two Black Doves Of Isis.
